One-Day New Business Workshop

A one-day deep dive into your positioning and new business strategy to identify weaknesses and opportunities. We would then put together a plan with key strategic initiatives and ideas.  The aim would be to identify quick wins and but also longer-term foundational elements that need to be put in place for sustainable growth.

Overview of workshop

We would recommend no more than 4 people from the business attending. This would be an in-person session that would last a full working day.

Positioning

  • State of the nation - where you’re at and where you’d like to be

  • Current pitch - 30 second sell, agency description, Why, What, How, Who

  • Clients - archetypes, needs, motivations

  • Agency product - current skills and specialisms, potential areas of growth

  • Culture - team overview, their view the agency and what will motivate/galvanise them 

  • Look of success - what does the agency look like in 3-5 years’ time

  • Potential positioning territories - reviewing the above and identifying hooks for proposition development

Go-to-Market Plan

  • Commercial & Marketing Objectives - what does success look like?

  • Current Sales Funnel - establishing KPIs and a lead funnel

  • Analysis of sales sources - where your current leads come from

  • Optimising conversion rates and pitching - how is your win rate?

  • Review of current marketing collateral including website, creds, events, awards, PR, social media etc.

  • Review of sales messaging and collateral (case studies/creds)

 

Resources

  • Review of resources and skill gaps - who’s in the team and what can you handle

  • Analysis of current CRM, MarTech & data setup - is this fit for purpose and being used well

  • Review of project management and sales/marketing calendars
